Rob Featherstone
Rob Featherstone is a cinematographer specializing in commercial, narrative, and documentary filmmaking. His work on the documentary A Fine Line, about female chefs, earned him the "Best Cinematography" award at the Borderlands Film Festival. Other notable projects include Love Gilda, which was nominated for two Emmys and opened the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, as well as Requiem for the American Dream and Indian Point, both of which premiered at Tribeca. His feature film Farmer of the Year, starring Barry Corbin and Terry Kiser, won the Audience Choice Award at the Minneapolis International Film Festival.
Rob studied classics at Wesleyan University and brings a thoughtful, artful approach to his work. In addition to his cinematography, he is a dedicated educator and mentor, sharing his expertise and inspiring the next generation of filmmakers.
When not on a shoot, Rob can be found in Beacon, New York, enjoying time with his family.
